Sloppy Robot · Getting started
Sloppy Robot: start with a bumper and build from there.
You start with 100 credits and a steel bumper. You’re supposed to build up from there, not spawn with a finished death machine. Here’s how the garage and rooftop fights work.

In this guide
Start with the bumper
The title screen shows your machine on the turntable with its name, level, credits and record. Enter the garage to fit parts, or press the red FIGHT button to go straight to Fight Club and pick a rival. The title appears once per browser session.
The opening setup gives you a steel bumper and 100 credits. Scrap Rat, your first rival, is bumper-only too. Use that fight to learn steering, spacing and the edge of the roof. Falling off is a real way to lose.
On keyboard, use W / S to drive and A / D to steer. Space / E operate weapons, Q uses utility and Shift boosts. What you can use depends on what you’ve fitted. Touch and gamepad controls are also included.
Build the garage as you level
Guns unlock at level 3. The current garage has forty hardware items, nine body kits and six finishes across twenty levels, with six NPC rivals to fight.
Read what a part does before spending credits. Change one part at a time when you’re learning, then take it into a fight. If you replace everything at once, it’s harder to tell what improved the build.
What should your first 100 credits buy?
You can afford a steering tune, extra hull, a bigger energy reserve, traction bracing or longer front forks. Each changes a different problem; none makes you unbeatable. The garage build guide lists the prices, unlock levels and tradeoffs, including a first-gun setup and an edge-pushing build.
Paint it once the thing can drive
The paint shop supports mirrored strokes, an eraser and undo. Your saved paint can appear in online play. Body kits and finishes give you other ways to make the machine yours.
You don’t need a perfect paint job to start fighting. Get comfortable with the controls first, especially boost near an edge.
Choose a duel or a team fight
| Arena | Format | Joining |
|---|---|---|
| Foundry 04 | 1v1 duel | Sign in for online play. |
| Freight Exchange | 2v2 | Use friends and party invites to play together. |
| Signal Works | 3v3 | A larger team fight; online play requires an account. |
Keep your garage on the same account
Use your Slopclip account for supported garage saves and online play. Eligible online purchases and rewards are handled by the server. An old Robot Rage garage does not transfer here; this is a separate game and progression system.
Why the Robot Rage comparison?
Building a small machine and taking it into a rooftop fight is the shared appeal. Sloppy Robot has its own parts, arenas, art and rules. Slopclip is independent and is not affiliated with Miniclip or Robot Rage’s rights holders.
Try the first fight. If it stutters, tell us the device, browser and whether you were in the garage, an NPC fight or an online match. That distinction helps.
